Thank you Betty Fashion Lover for this excellent style, you seem to know me very well. Casual and on the move. Nicely done, thank you this is an honor.
We just published our first in-world Virtual-HG magazine. Please pick up your copy at
CurledSun cove has a beautiful underwater world with mermaids. Reyn gave me beautiful mermaid fins and AO from one of his favorite places in opensim, AquaDark at Metropolis grid.
Fred Beckhusen gave to us beautiful NPC mermaids too that swim in our underwater paradise.
I love to relax swimming as a mermaid, it is so soothing.
Watching Seabirds Soar (Harmony) (ft. Snowflake)
We are making progress. @Reyn Softly created stunning falls that curve along the shore line beautifully. We set the environment to [TOR] Sunset-Early Warning. On this build we decided to use a palette we think you will love too. We chose a Rose/Gold and copper theme throughout the build. The wallpaper is rose with abstract gold swirls, we have copper tiled ceilings, copper window frames the effect is just stunning with this sky setting. We will have our opensimworld beacon live next week after we finish the landscaping, we invite you to stop by then.
Well...two guesses. What could Trey possibly be excited about?
Reyn has just informed Trey that he and Mari are creating a virtual office where they can present a Grid Magazine for con.tin.u.um. An extension of this website Virtual-HG. A printed inworld edition of the magazine where the team can present their projects, accomplishments and yes even the defeats because even when we are defeated there is a lesson in that usually - we will steer clear of dramas or name calling or word slinging type of rants. We think Mari got that out of her system. Thank goodness
Our first in-world edition will be published July 1st - it will be quarterly with the next magazine out in October. We plan on featuring not only grid news but we want to also visit grids around the hyper-grid and review the regions with their latest projects or activities. We want to focus on what is great about the hyper-grid.
Opensimworld is buzzing with activity with new grids being created almost daily, most with the thanks to Fred Beckhusen and his fantastic DreamGrid. We too wish to thank Fred, we love our DreamGrid .
Keep up with the latest with our new Virtual-HG Magazine. Available soonish.
That's only half of the excitement, you see with a virtual magazine you need a virtual office right? Yes, that is right. We are working now on a Virtual-HG headquarters region. We have many friends offering to contribute to the project with buildings and landscaping supplies. Thank you, Fred, Sam, Scott, Victor, and mostly that Reyn guy cause without him none of this would have been possible.
Research has proven that Cannabis is therapeutic for many illnesses. For me it is Multiple Sclerosis. I am one that believes in the healing properties of the plant. I am living proof of how it has kept me out of a wheelchair. I am able to walk because of CBD oils that I consume each day. My vision has improved too. My doctors are amazed at how well I am doing at my age, with MS. I contribute it all to the therapy of cannabis.
I created a doobie so that like-minded folk can pick up their healing doobie. It is completely fine to smoke doobies virtually too, enjoy.
We recently opened a Cannabis Information region where you will be able to research everything about cannabis. From health benefits to how to grow and cultivate.
Cannabis Information Center -
Leafly is the world’s largest cannabis information resource, empowering people in legal cannabis markets to learn about the right products for their lifestyle and wellness needs. The Leafly team of cannabis professionals collectively share years of experience in all corners of the market, from growing and retail, to science and medicine, to data and technology.
We have been given permission to share these resources at a convenient info center.
We will be displaying art around the region of the Opensim artists we have collected such as Cherry Manga and Avia Bonne.
Work in Progress
Guest Cottage for our Guest Speakers
We are currently working on a few projects at con.tin.u.um.
Reyn is in the process of adding caves and landscaping to Trey Magnifique's Mudflats. What makes this region so special to us is that the swamp and caves were Trey's home at that Canadian grid we called home for over three years. Reyn is painstakingly recreating with limited inventory items, which we both have been trying to replace and obtain again. It is no small feat but he has managed to once again create magnificent craggy rock caves and outcroppings. He is simply magic.
Our pandoran region iknimaya [which means Stairway to Heaven in Na'vi] we will be adding more caves and updating some of the older plants to newer mesh creations. Many of the tortured prim plants will stay, I feel prims do have a place in opensim. Even though prims add up and there are limitations; prims rez better. Let's face it loading mesh sometimes ruins a great experience. The beautiful details and prim saving mesh loads slowly or not at all depending on how it is made. Prims are so faithful in their performance we know what we get with prims and some of the free 3D websites where many find free mesh resources the mesh is made poorly.
CurledSun is where we are featuring Blue Mind interactive ocean. We will be adding an immersive ocean tour of the region. We have added a little steampunk submarine by Vbinnia Radek "Vbinnia's Steampunk Bathysphere" which can be picked up at Lani mall.
Please use it to tour what we have currently installed. As time progresses we hope to have a touring sub that will take you through the stunning depths of our ocean.
Reyn will also be updating his Rockhenge beach area. We want to make it more focal and inviting to our friends. This is such a great build it is a pleasant place to chill and hang out with friends.
Just something about vines. Twisting, around their companion plant or structure. They show such grace as they wind around displaying beautiful flowers or endless berries, I just adore vines.
One of Reyn's favorite places to visit is Aqua Dark at Metroland. Lacchi Macchi has beautiful landscaping items free and full perms.
We picked up this blackberry vine which is a textured sculpt. Since it is full perms I decided to mod it with other vines like pumpkin, and then ivy. This sculpt is awesome it gives the appearance of 3d vines, sort of layered vines, it is stunning.
You too can pick up these vines by copying ours or pick them up at Aqua Dark at this location
HG Auenland, Aquadark (186, 127, 4001) this region is located at metro.land hg.metro.land:80:*Metropolis*
When you create a new membership at con.tin.u.um you will have a choice of Female, Male or Neutral avatar.
We have new Female and Male starter avatars thanks to Hyacinth Jewell of HG Luv grid.
Female Avatar is a LuvMyBod Mesh Avatar she is also wearing the latest Monentes Jewelry and working AO.
Male Avatar has working AO and wearing Roth mesh avatar with Rana hair.
Please visit the HG Luv grid and show Hyacinth some love
The Neutral Avatar is created by Cherry Manga, it is her "Bird" avatar. Such an amazing creator. You can find her region here.
Let's support these beautiful creators by visiting their Grids soon.❤
I knew I was not going completely mad, just partly. I want to thank @Fred Beckhusen sincerely for giving us control over our worlds. I never realized just how much control I had lost until I created my own DreamGrid.
For years I was told that export permissions box was grayed out because it was a "bug" in opensim. I found that to be odd, and could not wrap my head around the reason so I would continue loading content into the world and market.
When it came time to leave this grid, I could not export anything from inventory to my new grid con.tin.u.um I could only export items that were listed as export in the market, again I found this odd. Tried every single way you can imagine to try to get my very own full permission created solely by me-still I could not export my very own creations unless they were first marked export and placed in market.
So once settled into my new DreamGrid, I began filling my free store with items I found at the free resource sites and checking permissions to make sure others could export out the free items I see that export does in fact work, it is not grayed out in a grid where I have control over the settings, who woulda thunk it?
